Startup Course for Working ProfessionalsBuilt Around Your Job
Most online startup courses are videos you watch and forget. What a working professional actually lacks is not information, it is someone who looks at their own idea every week and a deadline that does not move. LVL1 Startup School is a twelve-week program you do alongside your job: live 1:1 sessions with an operator, work due every phase, and no equity taken.
30 seats per cohort · ₹499 to be reviewed · ₹12,000/month for 3 months, only if accepted · no equity
Why a course alone rarely works
If you have a full-time job, the constraint is time and momentum, not knowledge. The program is designed around three things a video course cannot give you.
It fits your week
About ten hours a week, with 1:1 sessions booked from your portal on evenings and weekends. You do not have to quit, take leave or move cities.
You work on your own idea
Every assignment is applied to your idea: real customer conversations, a real landing page, a real first version. By the end you have evidence, not a certificate.
You decide on evidence
The last phase is a written decision: keep going, change direction or stop, with revenue, pipeline and savings on paper. Resigning is a choice you make with data, not a condition of joining.
Online startup course vs Startup School
Recorded courses are a cheap way to learn the vocabulary. They are a poor way to actually start. The difference is feedback and deadlines.
| Typical online course | LVL1 Startup School | |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Recorded videos, self-paced | Live 1:1 sessions plus a recorded library |
| Feedback on your idea | None, or a forum | An operator reviews your work every week |
| Deadlines | None | A twelve-week curriculum with work signed off by your mentor |
| Outcome | A certificate | A validated problem, a first version and a paying customer where the idea holds |
| Cost | One-time fee | ₹12,000 a month for three months, no equity |
What the twelve weeks include
Three phases: validate the problem, build the smallest useful version, and launch to a paying customer, all around a full-time job.
- Four live 1:1 sessions a month with operators who have built and sold companies
- A twelve-week curriculum with deadlines that a mentor signs off, not you
- Sessions on evenings and weekends, booked from your portal
- Recorded library, templates, a cohort community and partner perks
- Guidance on checking your employment contract before you build
- No equity taken. You keep 100% of your company

Startup course for working professionals: questions
Can I start a startup while working a full-time job in India?
Many founders do, especially in the validation stage. Check your employment contract first: many have clauses about outside work, confidentiality or who owns what you create, sometimes even outside office hours. Read yours and speak to a lawyer if anything is unclear. We are not your lawyers.
How many hours a week does it take?
About ten hours a week, including four live 1:1 sessions a month on evenings or weekends. If you are already full-time on your idea you move through the same work faster.
Is this a certificate course?
No. The outcome is evidence about your own idea: customer conversations, a first version and, where the idea holds, a paying customer. That is worth more to you, and to any investor later, than a certificate.
Is it online?
Yes, fully online, so working professionals anywhere in India can join.
What does it cost?
A one-time ₹499 review fee when you apply, then ₹12,000 per month for three months, charged only if you are accepted. After that an optional alumni membership of ₹3,000 per month. No equity, no success fee, cancel anytime.
I only have an idea. Is that enough?
Yes. Idea stage is fine. The first phase is about testing whether the problem is real before you build anything.
Not sure the problem is real yet? Validate it for free first.
